Schemes and Services Implemented Through the Office
No services are provided directly to the public from this office. The office is responsible for implementing projects under the Block Panchayat schemes, as well as projects funded through the special funds of the MP and MLA, Kerala Government flood relief activities, and works implemented through other departments as directed by the Government. The office is also responsible for approving projects in this sector of the six Panchayats and the Municipality under the Block Panchayat, granting technical sanction, recording measurements of works after inspection, and approving bills. Supervision of new buildings in Government/Aided schools within the Block area and issuance of the initial fitness certificate are also carried out through this office.
Information Regarding Office Structure
An LSGD Sub Division functions in the Block Panchayat. The office is headed by an Assistant Executive Engineer, and the sanctioned staff positions include one Assistant Engineer, one First Grade Overseer, one Second Grade Overseer, one Clerk, and one Office Attendant. The Assistant Executive Engineer of the Block is also the controlling officer of all employees in the Engineering Wing of the Grama Panchayats under the jurisdiction of Kuttippuram Block Panchayat.
